Good news - checking today, at least some of these missing books (the Ian M Banks titles) are back on sale in ePub format, so I shall have to compare prices again. It's been suggested to me that the reason for their temporary absence was an inability on the part of some of the stores to properly restrict sales based on territory.

I'll tidy up the spreadsheet and upload it when I have a spare moment, so you can do your own comparisons with various stores and formats.

So the price comparison you've done is between the stores for the eBook format. I'd be interested to see what the equivalent in dead trees is for each store as well.. maybe compiled into a small table to make it easy to compare :-D

I'm still astounded that the books sometimes come out more expensive in eBook format, but I'm wondering how it works out with your 20, and whether what I'd randomly seen is just an anomaly.
