If you don’t know who I am or quite why you’ve come here, please take a look around, especially at the ‘about’ and ‘titles’ links at the top of the page.
Essentially, I’ve decided that, especially since topics such as FreeviewHD and Freesat are so important at the moment, it would be a good idea to pull together in one place all the different articles that I’ve written over the years.
I’m also planning to add plenty more material, some of it new, and some of it more historical – it you’re reading this in early April, you’ve probably stumbled across the site before I’ve finished adding all the old content that I want.
A word about dates
You might be confused by the dates on some of the articles, on a new blog. I’ve backdated them to match, roughly, when articles were either published or originally written, which hopefully will help make more sense of certain things. Where I’m pretty sure everything in an article is out of date, it’s also been tagged ‘historical’, so please don’t complain that something I wrote in 2005 isn’t accurate now!
